2020: How Long?

God is bound to destroy sin. Suffering is not the opposite of sin: good is the opposite of sin. Evil is eternally evil, and suffering can never atone for it. The suffering from COVID-19 will not atone for our personal sin against God.

Sorrow and confession and self-abasement alone will make up for the evil. Lamenting over white privilege is not confession or self-abasement.  It is a warped form of pride.

"Who is made to stumble, and I burn not?” is the Christian attitude. Joe Biden is suffering from dementia and his party puts him out front to stumble.  We should burn over this abuse.

God is ever severe in His handling of His children who will cling to sin through the pride of heredity. God will not overlook the sin of abortion and sexual perversion because of our nation's Christian heritage. Being born into a Christian home does not excuse our personal sin.

To exploit God’s word by curiosity instead of relying on the Spirit of God is ever misleading; obedience is the only line of illumination. Black Lives Matter, the Woke Church, and even the election campaign slogans and ads exploit God's Word and mislead many.

If you pry into truths before God has engineered the circumstances in which those truths can be obeyed, you will go wrong. Posts and tweets on social media allow us to pry into truths without having to obey them. It is no wonder there are so few heroes of the faith for us to follow.

When God takes His hand off a bad man, He lets the devil do his worst. Portland, Seattle, Chicago, New York City, Washington DC, my own hometown of Louisville, Antifa, Epstein...do we have enough convincing proof yet?
